The Holroyd Community Theatre is thrilled to announce a double comedy billing featuring the award-winning play ‘In PurSUEt’ and critically-acclaimed stand-up comedian Richard Pulsford.
‘In PurSUEt’ is a comedic play about a woman obsessed with bake-off favourite, Sue Perkins. The play has been performed at The Edinburgh Fringe Festival and various venues across the UK to critical acclaim. Written and performed by Eleanor Higgins, the play is a witty and occasionally relatable story that will have audiences in stitches.
Following the play, audiences will be treated to the stand-up comedy of Richard Pulsford, winner of The Times’ Best Joke of The Edinburgh Fringe 2022. Pulsford’s clever wit and observational humour have made him a popular performer on the comedy circuit.
Creative Director Michael Jenkins said, “We are thrilled to be hosting these two amazing performances direct from The Edinburgh Fringe Festival. ‘In PurSUEt’ is a hilarious play that has received rave reviews, and we are excited to have the opportunity to bring it to our community.
