Face2Face Performance Academy thrilled parents earlier this month with a swashbuckling and inventive production of Treasure Island.
Staged in just under an hour, the young performers brought Robert Louis Stevenson’s classic adventure to life through dynamic ensemble movement, bold physical storytelling, and live music from coaches Aimee and Tara.
A standout feature was the creative shanty-style reimagining of well-known songs, including Seven Nation Army and Thunderstruck, which added a rousing, theatrical energy to the performance, inspired by Edinburgh Fringe production, SHANTIFY!
This marked the final session of Face2Face’s academic year, celebrating the talent and dedication of all the young performers. The academy returns on 10th September for another year of exciting workshops and performances but if you can’t wait until then, there’s still a chance to get involved this summer!
The academy is hosting two special musical theatre workshops this July, led by West End stars Lucyelle Cliffe and Sasha Wareham (from Wicked and other hit shows). Perfect for budding performers, these workshops are a fantastic opportunity to learn from the best.

Congratulations to everyone involved in Treasure Island. What a brilliant way to end the year!
